Veterinarian

Dr. Meghan Finley grew up in Medinah, Illinois and relocated to Southwest Florida with her family in 2009. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Florida Gulf Coast University in chemistry with minors in biology, music, and interdisciplinary studies. While at FGCU, she was a cheerleader during the 2010-2013 seasons, including the year the men’s basketball team went to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA March Madness tournament.

Dr. Finley received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in St. Kitts, West Indies, in December of 2016 after finishing her clinical year at Texas A&M University. She is certified in medical veterinary acupuncture (CVMA) from Curacore in Fort Collins, Colorado and is currently pursuing her certification as a canine rehab veterinarian (CCRV) from Chi University in Reddick, Florida. She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Manipulation Practitioner (CVMMP). 

In 2019, Dr. Finley received a Soaring Eagle award from The Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association and the College of Arts and Sciences in recognition of professional success and service to the community. Dr. Finley is passionate about pain management, quality of life, and strengthening the bond between animals and their owners. Dr. Finley lives locally with her husband Garrett and their two children, Marlee and Scott. In their free time they can be found enjoying family time with their 3 dogs, or on the boat fishing. 

Tesla Richards, DVM, MSc

A proud Florida native from North Fort Myers, Dr. Richards has always had a love for science and the outdoors. She earned her biology degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and graduated from the Honors Program before completing her master’s degree in environmental science, where she dove into wildlife biology and behavioral ecology. During her studies, she examined the social interactions of giraffes and the effects of urbanization on Florida’s native Southern Ringneck Snake.  Her journey then took her to the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Go Gators!
 
Dr. Richards is passionate about personalized, preventive medicine and loves building long-term relationships with her clients and their pets. She also holds a certification in Aquatic Animal Medicine, focusing on wildlife medicine. During her free time, she enjoys helping local universities with student research projects such as, implanting transmitters into rattlesnakes and Nile monitors. When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find Dr. Richards exploring the outdoors and trail running with her husband Evan.

Don was born and raised in New York, but found his calling in the sunny southwest of Florida. With over 15 years of experience in both veterinary medicine and resort management, caring for both furry friends and vacationing guests. In his free time Don is exploring the great outdoors with his family and best dog ever Dixon who is a 5-year-old Pitbull.

Haley is a Florida native with experience in both the veterinary and hospitality industries. Her love for animals and interests in education have driven her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Being Fear Free certified, Haley has experience working with a variety of animals and providing compassionate care to ensure their well-being. Haley is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and she is in school for her bachelors in Veterinary Hospital Management with a minor in Marketing. 

In her free time, Haley can be found reading or spending time on the boat with her friends. Her best friend is a silly smiley pitbull mix named Cali that she rescued at 6 months old. She also has a sweet ball python named Gucci!

Crystal Ferraro, Technician

Born and raised in New York, Crystal made the move to sunny Southwest Florida in 2017 and has been part of the veterinary field for over 15 years. Her passion for animals shines through every day—and she proudly calls herself a devoted fur mom to her three beloved pets. 

 

Crystal is always looking for ways to grow in her career and is in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). Her big heart, sense of humor, and dedication to her patients make her an invaluable member of our team.

A Long Island native, Alyssa is working hard toward her dream of becoming a veterinarian. When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll often find her teaching horseback riding lessons to children or out on a ride herself.

Outside the barn and clinic, Alyssa loves line dancing, sunny beach days, and finding any excuse to take her pets—Loki, Thor, and Jane—on car rides (karaoke included!). Her bright personality and passion for animals make her a wonderful part of our team.

Brayan Escobedo, Certified Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Manager

Originally from Mexico, Brayan grew up in Tennessee before making Florida his home 10 years ago. After earning his Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA), he’s become a wonderful part of our team.

When he’s not at the clinic, Brayan enjoys relaxing with his Husky while watching Marvel movies, or heading outdoors to spend time on the water. His kindness, dedication, and love for animals shine through in everything he does.

Yoselin Bravo, Groomer

With over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and a degree in Animal Science, Yoselin brings both knowledge and heart to our team. She also has the unique perspective of a business owner, which adds to her well-rounded approach to client care. Passionate about educating pet parents and helping animals feel their very best, Yoselin is dedicated to making every visit a positive one.

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom of two sons and a loving dog. Most of her free time is happily spent with family—whether that’s cheering on her boys at football games or enjoying time together at home.
